Rheumcare Project
Rehabilitation centre set up to help people with any form of physical disability to achieve maximum potential.

This centre of excellence is run by Marinela Gombos and her wonderful team, and they are busy every day except Sundays from 7 a.m to 7p.m. providing 11,000 treatments a year, and home physiotherapy for patients sent home incapacitated from hospital.
It rehabilitates patients from babies with birth injury, to old folk with a stroke; and in between has antenatal classes (the first in Romania), back exercise classes, to name a few, plus weight reduction and aerobics for the wealthier who can afford to pay, which helps to cover costs.
JOY provides funding, staff salaries, medical equipment and supplies.
Continual support needed.

JOY has helped rheumatologist, Dr Iren Nagy to set it up. It was bought and completely renovated and a building was rebuilt to provide a large physiotherapy/gymnasium hall with a stair lift, a physiotherapy treatment room, two clinics and an office.
This is an amazing project that will need continual support in many ways to continue this fantastic work. You can be certain that this project makes the best use of any support given.
