Joy Seeking Help
Can you help the survivors!
Joy is seeking help for cyclone victims. There are over 100,000 dead can you help?
John 13:34-35
34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (NIV)
We are fund raising to support people working in Burma with the survivors of the cyclone which hit the Irrawaddy delta some weeks ago.
We are seeking help for victims of the cyclone which hammered into the Irrawaddy delta, with 120 mph winds, and massive tidal waves devastating the area.
Communications are disrupted meaning accurate news is slow, but over 100,00 are dead and hundreds of thousands need help urgently. The survivors need food, shelter and medical help; contaminated water will cause untold deaths and widespread sickness. We are fund raising to support people working in Burma who are trying to help the survivors with little or no resources.
Sending physical aid will be very expensive and difficult because of the devastation, so sending funds at present is the most immediate and cost effective way of assisting in this horrendous tragedy.
