Focus On: Shop Volunteers in West Yorkshire!
Our wonderful volunteers who man our two charity shops raise around 70% of our total income, and are a highly valued part of the charity, without whom we could not support all our projects in Romania. However we are in need of more volunteers to lighten the load, as many of our lovely team are elderly and disabled.
If you could help by offering 3 hours a week, morning or afternoon we would be grateful. You don't need to be an expert salesman/woman, often a listening, sympathetic ear for someone lonely or in trouble is needed, or simply someone who will tidy up after the customers!! We are always in need of good quality donations: toiletries, jewellery, small items of furniture, shoes, clothes, books, bric-a-brac and household items.
Also needed is someone with admin/computer skills to assist in the head office for a couple of hours a week.
